Accessibility Info

Please make arrangements for any of the below services with your Ticket Center Representative at the time of ticket purchase.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available in the rear of the Orchestra level.  These tickets must be purchased by phone or in person at the ticket center. Be sure to inform the Ticket Center of any special need you or your guest may have when buying tickets.

  • The balcony is up two flights of stairs (21 stairs), with an additional 15 steps to the seating area.
  • The balcony is not accessible by the elevator.
  • Restrooms are available on each level (basement, orchestra and balcony).  The basement is accessible by the elevator.

Assisted Listening Devices

Assisted Listening Devices are available from The Capitol Theatre bar on the main floor at no charge during events at The Capitol Theatre. A driver's license, state-issued ID card or another form of a security deposit is required.

ASL Interpreters

ASL Interpreters are present during designated shows. If you require an ASL interpreter at a performance not designated, requests must be made at least two weeks ahead of time to our Guest Services Manager so an interpreter can be provided. All requests are subject to artist approval and availability of an interpreter. Please ask about our special ASL rates at the time of ticket purchase.

Service Animals

Service Animals are welcome to The Capitol Theatre. Proper Identification is required.

Familiarization Tours

Familiarization Tours are offered to all patrons. Take a tour of the seating area and facilities before purchasing tickets. Guided tours for the visually impaired are available by appointment.
