Please make arrangements for any of the services below with your Patron Services Representative at the time of ticket purchase. Accessible seating is available. These tickets must be purchased by phone or in person at the Ticket Center. Be sure to inform the Ticket Center of any special needs you or your guests may have when buying tickets.
The beautiful and historic Capitol Theatre presents some unique accessibilitychallenges. If you are attending an event at the Capitol Theatre, it is stronglyrecommended that you discuss your accessibility needs with your PatronServices Representative before arrival.
- The balcony is NOT accessible by elevator. Because of this, wheelchairaccessible seating is at Orchestra level only.
- The balcony is up two flights of stairs (21 stairs), with an additional15 steps down to the seating area.
- Restrooms are available on each level (basement, orchestra and balcony).The basement is accessible by elevator.
Assisted Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices are available at no charge during events at the WhitingAuditorium and the Capitol Theatre. A driver’s license, state-issued ID card oranother form of security deposit is required.These devices are available from theWhiting Auditorium lobby desk and the Capitol Theatre main bar.
To request an ASL interpreter at a performance, please contact the Ticket Centerat least two weeks ahead of time so an interpreter can be provided. All requests aresubject to artist approval and availability of an interpreter. Please ask about ourspecial ASL discounted rates at the time of ticket purchase.
Service animals are welcome in FIM venues.
Familiarization tours are offered to all patrons. Take a tour of the seating areaand facilities before purchasing tickets. Guided tours for the visually impairedare available by appointment. Contact the Ticket Center to schedule your tour.
